| Highland Millworks continues to provide the diving market with the right products, with value and workmanship being the primary distinction between the Highland mark and other brands. Such is the case with the Highland Millworks stainless steel backplate. Made completely from 316L brush-finished stainless steel, the Highland Millworks plate weighs in at 6 pounds and comes ready for use with any Hogarthian or DIR harness you wish to use. There is no electroplating finish, just the pure brushed stainless surface.
From top to bottom, the Highland Millworks stainless steel backplate measures 15 5/8", with a size measurement at the bottom of 10 3/8". The top of the plate features both horizontal and angled strap slots to allow "direct" or "cross-over" shoulder strap mounting. The plate has nominal twin mounting set holes centering at 11", with the bottom hole slotted 1" to allow for ease of twin set installation and slight differences in band centering. The depth of the plate "V" is 1", providing a flatter fit against the back. The 3/8" holes along the sides provide for accessory mounting. The Highland Millworks stainless steel backplate is also slotted for direct use of cam bands for single cylinder diving, making the use of a single tank adapter optional. It is also slotted at the bottom for use with either a 1" or 2" crotch strap.
